Did You Know? My Hero is dedicated to ordinary, everyday heroes because Dave Grohl himself never had musical or sports heroes growing up as a child. It's commonly believed to be about Dave Grohl's former bandmate in Nirvana Kurt Cobain and in a 1997 interview Grohl said - "There's definitely an element of Kurt in that song" 

American Songwriter Magazine considers My Hero to be the best Foo Fighters song. 

In 2008 Senator Join McCain used the song without permission during campaign rallies. The Foo Fighters responded - "It's frustrating and infuriating that someone who claims to speak for the American people would repeatedly show such little respect for creativity and intellectual property... The saddest thing about this is that 'My Hero' was written as a celebration of the common man and his extraordinary potential. To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song."

Did You Know? Millionaire was the first single from Chris Stapleton's 3rd album. It was nominated for the best country solo performance at the Grammys.

Did You Know? Peaceful Easy Feeling was written by Jack Tempchin after sleeping on the floor of the coffee shop that he has performed in. He initially wrote the lyrics on the back of a flyer for the gig. Glenn Frey heard the song 8 days after forming his new band called The Eagles and ask if he could work on the song. When he presented Tempchin with a tape of the song Tempchin later said 'it was so good, I couldn't believe it!'

Did You Know? November Rains was written and recorded by Harry Chapin in 1981 and he was working on the album it's from The Last Protest Singer when he passed away. It was later released posthumously in 1988.

Harry was a dedicated philanthropist he founded World Hunger Year, helped to create the Presidential Commission On World Hunger and donated a third of the income from his concerts toward ending world hunger.

Did You Know? Black Velvet Band is at least as old as 1853 as it was published then as a Ballad by could be older. It's traditionally sung in many countries including Ireland, England, Australia, Canada and the US and often the location of the songs changes between Belfast Ireland and London UK. 

The Dubliners based their version on the one sung by Harry Cox in 1955, they recorded theirs in 1967.

Del Amitri are from Glasgow in Scotland and invented their name to be intentionally meaningless.

Did You Know? Shallow was written between filming A Star Is Born and is sung from the perspective of the two main characters. It was originally intended for the end credits of the film but was later moved to feature at a pivotal moment in the plot as the characters relationship deepens.

Did You Know? Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad was released by Meat Loaf in 1977. It was written by Jim Steinman who was complaining that nobody liked his songs to a cast member of his musical Mimi Kennedy so she told him it's because his songs were so complicated. At this point Elvis came on the radio singing 'I Want You, I Need You, I Love You' so Mimi gave it as an example of a simple song. That night Jim went home with the intention of writing a simple song and came up with Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad. 

The Japanese release of the song translates the title as A 66% Seduction!
