Did You Know? November Rains was written and recorded by Harry Chapin in 1981 and he was working on the album it's from The Last Protest Singer when he passed away. It was later released posthumously in 1988.
Harry was a dedicated philanthropist he founded World Hunger Year, helped to create the Presidential Commission On World Hunger and donated a third of the income from his concerts toward ending world hunger.
